Injured Worker's Advocate was founded by a licensed Paralegal who is also an injured worker. Having worked for several years at another firm as a Paralegal specializing in W.S.I.B. and C.P.P.D. claims it was realized that the demand for assistance to the injured worker was high while the supply for services of assistance to the injured worker was remarkably low. It was then decided that Injured Worker's Advocate would be formed to provide an additional much needed resource in helping the injured worker.
Helping injured workers requires passion and devotion dedicated to the clients. Passion and devotion are key to what Injured Worker's Advocate stands for. Having been an injured worker enables a firm understanding and compassion of what one can go through during the claims process. It also provides you, the client, with a confidence and peace of mind that we fully understand your situation and we will do everything it takes to fight for your rights!
We offer services from adjudication to Tribunal and anything else that is required in between, during and after your claims process.

"I have never met my representative in person but the job was done and done extremely well! My representative is professional and efficient. This man treats you the way WSIB should treat you "with respect". He certainly understands what you are going through and gives you clear guidance. He gets through to WSIB in ways that you can't. Not long after he took on my case things started to happen. Letters being sent to WSIB, questions asked and answered. I was always made aware of what was going on with my case either with a personal phone call or a letter from his office. I have had a "gigantic" load off of my shoulders knowing that someone was fighting for ME. I have been given hope and have certainly not been disappointed. I had been fighting with WSIB for 8 years. I knew my condition was worse and I asked for an examination. It was always denied. My case was complicated but my representative was able in a few short months to arrange for this examination. I was awarded back time and a substantial increase on my monthly pension. WSIB finally gave me the medical help I requested. Injured Worker's Advocate gave me back my "rights" as an injured worker."
"After 6 years of being on WSIB, my case manager called me and informed me she had decided I could return to work full time with no restrictions. I knew this was not possible as nothing had been done to alleviate my back problem. What was worse was they were reducing my payments to less than $6.00 per hour from over $16.00 per hour. After searching the net I came across Injured Worker's Advocate and after checking them out I was sold on them. Not only is handling WSIB matters one of their specialties, my representative is an injured worker himself and has been through what I am going through. Their knowledge and professionalism has allowed me to put my mind at ease. Even though my case has yet to be resolved, I have total faith that Injured Worker's Advocate will settle this matter in my favour."
"I was looking for a reputable firm to represent me in my matters. I didn't want someone who was going to waste my time and didn't fully understand how frustrated I was in my situation. I can certainly say that Injured Worker's Advocate has provided me with understanding, quick actions and the knowledge of how to get to the bottom of my situation. They have always been there promptly to answer any questions that I may have had. I find them to be very patient and take the time to explain what is not understood. I found their fees to be very fair for the work they have to do. I have no reservations in recommending this firm."

"I would like others to know of the assistance that you have provided me. I have been on WSIB now for 11 years and have had many headaches with them. Everything from being cut off from benefits to living on a NEL award which is not easy to do. My life has been turned upside down, everything from losing my income to losing my family as I can not support anyone on this income. I had looked for a lawyer all over Ontario that would fight WSIB for me and the ones that would take me on wanted a huge amount of a down payment and then 20-35% of any ongoing earnings. Well, living on this NEL award is hard enough but to come up with the amount they require is impossible to say the least. As there is nothing fast with WSIB except to cut you off or deny you anything that you should be entitled to, without the assistance of Injured Worker's Advocate I would be worse off. You have removed some of the headaches for me. I would like to thank you for all of the assistance you are providing me with."
